RATIONALE
The conventional lecture is the most common way of imparting knowledge, but it encourages one way communication and passive learning. Audiences often complain that many lecturers are boring and disorganized. Despite the criticisms, the lecturing method can be an effective way to attain instructional goals with systematic planning, effective delivery and used in conjunction with active learning teaching strategies.
